(Feb) - new "Honey B-shirts" hit merch tables! 10% of proceeds go towards the Canadian Honey Council's "Save the Bees" Campaign (Feb) - sang background vocals on Emma-Lee's upcoming record "Backseat Heroine" due Feb 2012 (Feb) - celebrated the release of "Honey" in our hometown (Toronto) with a full beautiful band consisting of Oliver Johnson, Scott Galloway, Brian MacMillan, Drew Birston, Ben Rollo, and special guest Sasha Singer-Wilson (Mar) - "Honey" CD release tourdates in Ontario and Quebec (Mar-Nov) - NE U.S. "Honey" CD release tourdates with support of Ontario Arts Council International Tour Support grant (May) - UK's Maverick Magazine 4 star review of "Honey" (June) - new Layah Jane official website launch - thank you Jud Haynes and Steven Ishiwara! (July) - "Find You Gone" Official Music video release - thank you Hank Devos! (July) - played NY's Falcon Ridge Folk Festival's Emerging Artist showcase (July) - won the CIsco Ottawa Bluesfest's "She's the One" Emerging Female Artist competition band category (July) - Roots Music Canada "Live in the Woodshed" video (July) - performed in David Pecaut Square in Toronto (July) - performed at Harbour Nights Concert Series in Owen Sound (July) - Shelter Valley Folk Festival mainstage and workshop performances (Sept) - Grassroots Series at The Inner Garden with Brian MacMillan, Chris Assaad, Matt York, Oliver Johnson, and Layah Jane, takes off!
