A new beginning. A new year.
A spark of light in the dark.
A spark of life in the womb.
A spark of inspiration in the world.

Where does the dance begin?
When does it heat our hearts, and command our committment?
When does it pull us into the peak of our own spontaneous aliveness,
and when does it release us, lighter, lifted, new,
exquisitely attuned to what is both ending, and beginning, again?

5Rhythms movement practice offers us a map to remembering and expressing our innate creativity. Through these five weeks dancing together, we will explore our relationship to creative process (aka the process of living). We will investigate how we are with different stages of creation: beginnings, middles, and endings. We will dance until our Muses are moved, our souls are stirred, and our bodies shine with the sweat of our dancing devotion. Let’s begin this new year, in collaboration with Life, mystery, and motion.
