  • Roncesvalles United Church 240 Roncesvalles Avenue Toronto, ON, M6R 1M3 Canada (map)

Deep Waves is a monthly Saturday high-spirited dancing dive into the medicine of the 5Rhythms. We gather for an evening of music, movement, embodied ceremony, and community connection.

Danced by tens of thousands worldwide, 5Rhythms is a dynamic freestyle movement practice. Dancing Wave upon Wave of the 5Rhythms, we practice the art of being fully alive in the present moment, to all that moves through us. Come dive into your own deep dance, with a circle of other dancing seekers of the sacred. Come reSource, come release, come ride the Wave!

COVID PROTOCOL CHANGES:

*As of JUNE 1, masks will be optional in studio, but we will continue to wear masks in common areas of the building.

*Rapid antigen tests will be provided to you at the door when you arrive. You will be instructed how to self-administer the test by swabbing your nostrils. Our crew will process the tests and give you your results.

*This Sept Deep Waves class will be capped at 40 maximum (43% of the room's capacity).

COVID PROTOCOLS:
Capacity limits (40 people max in the room)
Rapid antigen testing at the door
Masks optional in studio, masks required in common areas in the building
Windows open
Contact tracing (name and phone number of every participant)
Outside doors get locked after all participants are in the building

Rapid antigen tests will be provided to you at the door when you arrive. You will be instructed how to self-administer the test by swabbing your cheeks, throat, and nostrils. Test results are available in 15 minutes. (Perhaps a pre-dance quiet meditation time as we wait for our results? : )

Please arrive between 7-7:20pm to do your antigen test before class.

While no layer of protection is perfect, the above measures work better together than they do alone. If you choose to attend this indoor class, you acknowledge that though we are taking precautions, there is still a risk of contracting Covid as a result of attending, and you are assuming full responsibility for your choice to attend, and any illnesses or injuries that may result.

*As the pandemic improves in Ontario we anticipate dropping antigen testing from our protocols.
