Life dances us deep. It’s delicious, devastating, and delightful. There’s so much moving through us and around us, that it can be a challenge to be awake enough in our experiences, to have the agency to choose our response. Sometimes we find ourselves stuck in an old groove, unable to motivate or mobilize. Sometimes we brace ourselves against it– rigid and tight – trying our darndest to control. When a wave of change hits, how do we navigate the chaos and confusion? Do we space out or pretend we are feeling something we actually aren’t? Faced with the possibility of love and of being hurt, how can we soften our walls of self-protection, to feel this precious life moving through?
The 5Rhythms moving meditation practice offers us the opportunity to embody our experiences – both the light and the shadow. Dancing Wave upon Wave, deep and devoted, we can develop our capacity to move through the spectrum of our human experience, to recognize when we are stuck, and when we have momentum – and to put it all back into the dance.
Pre-requisites: One previous Waves level workshop, or 10 hours of previous Waves level classes (minimum) is required to participate in this workshop.

COVID POLICY:
We will review our COVID risk mitigation policies one month prior to our workshop. At this point, these are the measures we plan to have in place:

-in studio ventilation
-masks welcome, not required
We request that you minimize exposure to viruses before this gathering. If you have come into contact with anyone who is sick, please test yourself before arriving, and please let us know. We expect any dancers experiencing cold/flu symptoms to stay home to care for themselves, and the rest of the group.

No refund will be issued for cancellations after May 24, 2024.
(a 75% refund MAY be issued if the workshop is at capacity, and a replacement is registered)
