In the dancing path of the 5Rhythms, God, Sex & the Body is an initiation into being an embodied soul. It is a deeply personal journey, a celebration like no other, a ritual for the hot and holy you.
It's a call to stretch our imaginations, move through a spectrum of feminine and masculine archetypes, to dress them up, get inside them and give them expression. No one can embody your soul, project your magic or have your specific curiosity. Part artist, part lover, part god - we were born to rock the world and feel our way into each other's hearts. This workshop liberates and inspires us to emerge a bit more fascinated with each other and the mystery of it all.

Cancellations:
A full refund, less a $50 processing fee, will be issued if notice is received by Oct 13, 2022.
A full refund, less a $150 processing fee, will be issued if notice is received by Oct 27, 2022.
A 50% refund will be issued if notice is received by Nov 3, 2022.
No refund will be issued for cancellations after Nov 5, 2022.

*If you are cancelling your place in the workshop up to 48 hrs prior to the workshop, due to testing positive for COVID, or a known exposure to COVID, then we will offer you a refund for your workshop fees less a $50 processing fee. If you test positive for COVID during the first 2 days of the workshop, we will offer you a 50% refund. If you test positive for COVID after the first 2 days of the workshop, refunds will be on a case by case basis.
If we need to cancel/postpone our workshop due to a worsening of the pandemic, then we will refund participants 100% of their workshop fees. Please note that we are not able to cover any costs incurred by participants for transportation or accommodations, so please organize your travel and travel insurance with this in mind.
COVID POLICIES
* All participants will be required to complete a Rapid Antigen Test (also known as a "lateral flow test" in some countries) within the 2 hrs prior to arriving at the workshop venue on Thurs Nov 10. Participants will be asked to confirm verbally at the registration desk, that they have tested negative.
Alex Mackay has been teaching 5Rhythms for well over 2 decades and is known for light and depth in her teaching, choosing few well chosen words, and opening a sense of wonder. She is energetic, embodied and creative. She is the first teacher after Gabrielle Roth and Jonathan Horan to offer this 5Rhythms archetypal map.
Note from Alex: My creative self always led the way, finding relief and freedom when dancing and drawing - and although the body is my medium, using imagination and sculpting the mysterious have always attracted me just as much. I want it all - no divide between spirit and flesh, between the masculine and feminine within.. the lover to have desire and find beauty in many moments, the seeker to naturally connect to inspiration and devotion, the artist to design and take care of a life full of these riches. I danced God, Sex and the Body with Gabrielle many times and have danced and co-taught with Jonathan for the last 2 years, finding new energy, questions and treasure each time. . I’m so delighted and grateful to be teaching it myself, and a workshop with a built in party has to be perfect for me!
